Oh ya! Oh ya!

The Ottawa Senators are going to the Stanley Cup!!! Oh ya!!!! That's our team, baby... and let me take this opportunity to send my sympathies to all the Leafs fans out there.... ;)
Check out the t-shirt that I bought for Daniel last night...

It's a bit big, but he'll grow into it.

And GUESS who scored the winning goal for the Sens to take the Eastern Division Championship?

DANIEL Alfredsson, that's who!

(But, no, we didn't name OUR Daniel after a hockey player. Forget the fact that the girls want to change his middle name to Alfred!)
Exciting times.... here's hoping that the Red Wings take the Western Division so I won't have to watch hockey games being played on Pacific Time!

Native Detroiter here. Hope the Red Wings make it, too, but not because of the time zone issue.

I am sure I have an extra Toronto jersey around somewhere. I will put it in the mail for Daniel so he has an equal opportunity to cheer for a "real" hockey team. You know, one that gets lots of practice in on the golf course :)

Doreen- we USED to be Leafs fans... but that was in the days BEFORE the Senators... seriously, how can you not love a team with Ray "The Razor" Emery as their goalie!!?! Talk about cool threads... ;)

We're watching the Red Wings right now! They'll win...they always do. A little arrogant up here in MI huh?

I noticed your comments disabled on the above post. But I wanted to tell you that I wonder if this group is similar to the African Children's Choir? They will be on the American Idol finale? I have a firend who works closley this the organization. They sound very similar to me. I may also be getting involved (through my friend) with helping the choir. It really is amazing huh?
PS come over to my blog, I've tagged you for a Meme.

Thanks, Elizabeth for noticing that!
